The Paw Booker is a trading name operated in England and Wales. When we say "we", "us" or "our" in these terms, we mean The Paw Booker. When we say "you" or "your", we mean the dog grooming business signing up to use our services.

The Paw Booker provides a software platform and associated services for UK dog grooming businesses. Depending on the plan you choose, this includes some or all of the following:
The specific features included in your plan are those listed on our pricing page at the time you sign up. We reserve the right to update or improve features over time. We will always notify you of any significant changes that affect your plan.
We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as a particular number of new bookings, a specific star rating, or a set amount of revenue generated. Results vary between businesses.
To use The Paw Booker you must be a business owner or authorised representative of a UK dog grooming business. You must be at least 18 years old.

You must not use our platform to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or any content that is unlawful, offensive, or misleading.
Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance on the same date each month. Payment is taken by direct debit or card, depending on the method agreed at signup.
All prices are in GBP and are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added to your invoice at the prevailing rate where applicable.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect payment again within a few days. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days we reserve the right to suspend access to your account until the balance is cleared.
We review our pricing from time to time. If we increase your subscription price, we will give you at least 30 days written notice before the new price takes effect.
There is a minimum commitment of three months from your go-live date. After that, you can cancel any time by giving us 30 days written notice by email.
We do not offer refunds on monthly subscription fees already paid. If you cancel part way through a billing period, your access will continue until the end of that period.
If you cancel, we will provide you with an export of your client data in a standard format within 14 days of your cancellation taking effect. After that point your data will be deleted from our systems in line with our data retention policy.
A one-off setup fee is charged at the start of your subscription. This covers the time and work involved in building your booking system, configuring your automations, building your website, importing your existing clients, and running your onboarding and handover calls.
The setup fee is non-refundable once onboarding work has begun. If you decide not to proceed before onboarding starts, we will refund the setup fee in full.
We build and host a website for your grooming business as part of your subscription. The website remains live for as long as your subscription is active.
You own the content of your website, including your business name, branding, service descriptions and any images you provide. We own the underlying design, code and hosting infrastructure.
If your subscription ends, your website will be taken offline. We can provide you with the website files on request so you can host it elsewhere.
You must not use your website to publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, or in breach of any third party's intellectual property rights.
You remain the data controller for your clients' personal data. The Paw Booker acts as a data processor on your behalf when handling that data within the platform.
We will process your clients' data only for the purposes of providing the services you have signed up for, in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis under UK GDPR for sending marketing communications to your clients, including appointment reminders, review requests and rebooking nudges. We can advise on best practice but the legal responsibility sits with you as the data controller.
We will never sell your client data or use it for any purpose other than providing your services.
SMS credits are included in your monthly subscription as outlined on our pricing page. Credits are used each time a text message is sent to one of your clients, whether that is a reminder, a review request, a rebooking nudge or a missed call reply.
Credits do not roll over from one month to the next. If you exceed your monthly allowance, additional credits can be purchased at the standard rate, which we will notify you of in advance.
We reserve the right to suspend SMS sending if we believe it is being used in a way that breaches Ofcom regulations, PECR, or our acceptable use policy.
We take the reliability of our platform seriously and aim to maintain high availability. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Paw Booker's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic losses, including lost revenue, lost bookings or lost clients, even if we were aware of the possibility of such losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, changes in law, or for other reasonable business reasons. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
The current version of these terms is always available on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
